Creating Oranga: A Journey Born of Necessity.

Before we became synonymous with our revitalizing Medicinal Mushroom Wellness Blends and Tasty Immunity Helping Mushroom truffles, our story started with a simple quest for solutions.

Back in 2018, I was pursuing a degree in environmental science in the vibrant city of San Diego. I faced an all-too-common problem - stress and a lack of self-care in the midst of a demanding academic schedule.

Rather than surrendering to the pressure, I embarked on a journey to unearth healthier alternatives. I experimented with various approaches, like adopting a completely plant-based diet (only to feel fatigued due to inadequate energy sources) and consuming an excessive amount of energy drinks. Soon, I was enduring relentless energy crashes and dozing off during lectures, which was far from ideal in this competitive academic setting.

After a series of awkward moments in class, I knew I couldn't continue this way...
